Dominic Roque’s older brother laments his lack of support for him

<div style='text-align: left;'><div><img src='' alt='061015-dominic_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Kapamilya star Dominic Roque’s older brother Mark Roque admitted to having “<i>tampo</i>” towards him now that the latter is starting his career  in showbiz.</div><div><br/></div><div>In an interview with PEP, Mark claimed that he expected his brother to offer him a warm welcome now that he’s part of the business like him. Unfortunately though, he said that he got none.</div><div><br/></div><div>Although Dominic finally reached out to him recently, Mark admitted that <i>“Siguro po may tampo po ako nang konti sa nangyayari po sa amin.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>The reason he said was<i> “Kasi nga po, ako po todo-suporta sa kanya. Kapag may show po siya pini-picture-an ko po yung TV tapos pinu-promote ko sa Instagram, ganyan. Ayoko naman po na sabihin sa kanya na gawin mo ito [para sa akin]. Ang hinihintay ko po yung kusa niyang gagawing pagsuporta po sa akin.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Mark even bluntly admitted that he’s somewhat jealous of the relationship of other celebrity brothers like Aljur and Vin Abrenica and Rayver and Rodjun Cruz.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Yun nga po eh nakakainggit lang iyong ibang magkakapatid sa showbiz, kasi sobrang supportive nila sa isa’t isa hindi lang sa career kundi pati sa personal na buhay. Sana lang ganun din kami,”</i> Mark related.</div><div><br/></div><div>While he’s not entirely sure why Dominic reacted in such way, Mark presumed that it was due to their supposed sibling rivalry which started when they were a lot younger.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Siguro po na-develop po iyon nung medyo younger years po namin na nagkaroon po kami ng tahimik po na rivalry, parang ganun po. Dati po kasi, nararamdaman ko po, nakikita ko po lagi siyang sumasama sa akin,”</i> Mark said.</div><div><br/></div><div>He continued, <i>“Hindi ko naman po inaano… parang ina-idolize niya po ako noong bata pa po siya. Nauna po kasi akong pumasok sa modelling sa kanya. Iniisip ko po na baka nakita niya yung atensiyon ng lahat ng tao sa akin. So, doon po siguro nag-start yung rivalry.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Nevertheless, Mark said that he’s proud of what his younger brother has achieved. In fact, according to him, it was due to his brother’s achievements that he’s convinced into dismissing his speculated insecurity towards him.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Yun nga po yung sinasabi ko eh masyado na siyang sikat para siguro ma-insecure. At saka dapat po wala pong insecurity or something, kasi magkapatid naman po kami eh Ako po, ayoko po talaga ng sibling rivalry kasi hindi po healthy sa amin iyon,”</i> he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>In the end, Mark revealed that he’s been trying to reach out to Dominic for a little while now but to no avail.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Opo, kaya lang nga recently po nagkaroon po ako ng tampo kasi parang ang hirap niya pong kausapin. Dati naman konting text lang, nagkikita kami, nagbibilyar kami. Ngayon, sobrang busy na niya, ang dami niya pong extra-curricular activities,”</i> Mark said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Is there something that he wants to tell his brother?</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Dominic, kapag nabasa mo ito o narinig mo ito, mag-usap na tayo nang sincere,”</i> he ended.</div></div>
