<div><img src='' alt='050415-sam_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>International singer Sam Smith postpones his upcoming Manila concert this May 10 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City. </div><div><br/></div><div>Sam made an official announcement through his Manila concert producer Ovation Productions’ Twitter account this Monday afternoon, May 4.</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Manila, I have some bad news. I’ve been to the doctors today and although my 4 days vocal rest has definitely helped, I still have some serious issues with my vocal cords which need to be addressed. I am having to fly to the USA to see a specialist there and as a result need to re-schedule the shows to later this year. </i></div><div><i><br/></i></div><div><i>This is horrible for me and I’m truly very sorry that I cannot come and see you guys. I hope you understand and cannot wait to see you in the near future,</i>” Sam said.</div><div><br/></div><div>The Grammy winner mentioned on his social media accounts recently that he hasn’t spoken a word in three days since he was advised to rest his voice by his doctor. </div><div><br/></div><div>The British singer also postponed his concert in Sydney, Australia six days ago because of the same health issue. </div>
