053115-janella_up.jpgDuring the premiere night of Stars Versus Me starring Manolo Pedrosa and Maris Racal, one of the earliest guests to arrive was their Oh My G! co-star Janella Salvador who was with her mom Jenine Desiderio who is also part of the film. The teen actress admitted she wanted to show support for her co-stars who were officially being launched as the “MarNolo” love team. “Buti na lang I have time. Tinanong kaya niya ako. I'm excited to watch the two of them because I know they're also excited dahil first movie nila ito. Naunahan pa nga nila ako mag-first movie. Excited ako kasi ang laki na ng inimprove nila lalo ni Manolo sa acting kasi kasama siya sa MMK so I'm really happy for them,” she told Push.com.ph.

During the recent sportsfest which included the cast, crew, and fans of Oh My G! and Nasaan Ka nang Kailangan Kita, Janella admitted she had a really unforgettable day just enjoying playing sports and getting close with the fans of the two shows. “This summer was a working summer, as in a super working summer. Okay naman. No regrets. I love it! During the day of the sportsfest I was really hyper I don't know why. And I was so happy because I got to spend time with the fans and everyone who supports Oh My G! And of course all the cast was also there so ang saya lang. We also won! Of course I was so happy because I don't play volleyball tapos we won (laughs). Magaling na coach si Gretchen Ho tapos nagulat ako kasi ginawa pa akong team captain kahit hindi ako marunong mag-volleyball,” she admitted.

Even with her hectic working schedule, Janella said she still manages to cultivate her friendship on the set with other teen stars like Maris Racal. “Well we always see each other naman sa taping and nag-bo-bonding kami lalo na sa mga scenes namin puro mga isaw. We eat, ganun,” she said. Janella said she is excited for her own big screen debut by the end of the year. “I'm actually working on one na for the film festival. It's called Retreat House under Jun Lana. Ka-love team ko dun si Marlo Mortel and Jerome Ponce. Horror siya. It's fun kasi parang Be Careful With My Heart reunion, kaming tatlo. It's nice kasi I get to work with them on a different kind of project,” she excitedly shared.

The 17-year-old actress said it is fun shooting scenes for the film because she is familiar with a lot of scary stories. “I'm a fan of horror movies but I get scared. I end up scaring myself (laughs). I just think na takot naman talaga ako, duwag ako so sa mga scenes na sigaw sigaw okay na ako,” she said.
