Last year, there were rumors host Willie Revillame wasted his millions due to his gambling addiction. However, he was quick to deny the issue saying that he was only going to casinos to while away the time.
Once again, Willie maintained in a recent interview at PEP Talk that he didn’t become addicted to gambling.
“First of all ‘yung perang ‘yun pinaghirapan ko naman ‘yon.
Then he added, “At the same time, nag-enjoy lang ako eh. ‘Yung time na wala akong ginagawa naglibang lang ako.”
He likewise denied that he got depressed. Rumors are that Willie’s turning to gambling was caused by the lack of offers for the former noontime show host.
These days, Willie claimed that he has now stopped gambling.
Willie recently started a new variety show on GMA.
Despite all that he has experienced and the many adversaries that he has made in the industry, Willie maintained that he’s not harboring any ill-feelings towards any of them.
Wala kang hatred, wala kang bitterness, wala kang tinatanim. Bakit? You can sleep well eh. Makakatulog ka ng mahimbing eh,” he reasoned.
According to Willie, he’s trying to imbibe the personas of the late Comedy King Dolphy and King of Philippine Movies Fernando Poe, Jr.
“Wala akong bitterness towards anyone kasi at the end of the day kapag namatay sila dadalawin mo rin sila eh. Meron paring magandang masasabi sa kanila eh. Alam mo ang tao kasi siyempre you have to understand kung ano ang pinagdadaanan niyan. Dapat iniintindi natin eh,” Willie said.
He continued, “Pinagsama ko ‘yung Fernando Poe at Tito, Vic and Joey and then ‘yung combination of the success eh.”
