Pacquiao’s 8 memorable appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!


Last month, Hollywood host Jimmy Kimmel sang Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao’s Tagalog song, “Lalaban Ako Para sa Pilipino” on his late-night TV show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! Pacquiao will face Floyd Mayweather, Jr. in a highly-anticipated boxing match that will air in the Philippines on May 3, Sunday.

Jimmy and Manny have become good friends. In fact, Manny has appeared several times on Jimmy’s talk show, mostly doing karaoke and some comedic sketches. Push, lists down the memorable guest appearances of our Pambansang Kamao on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

1. Manny first appeared on Jimmy’s show on November 3, 2009. His guest appearance became memorable for his performance of Dan Hill’s “Sometimes When We Touch.

5. Last year, Jimmy asked Manny about his reaction to former US President Bill Clinton’s comment about him running the Philippines. Manny said that he is currently focused on being a Congressman and on his boxing career.

6. In March of this year, Jimmy’s hilarious co-host, Guillermo, went to the press conference of the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight. Because Guillermo joked that it was his birthday, Manny sang him the Happy Birthday song and wished him well.

8. Aired on April 22, Manny appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! talking to TV host-counselor Dr. Phil. When asked what compels him to fight Floyd Mayweather, Manny jokingly answered, “Yeah, because I’m being paid millions of millions of millions of millions of dollars.” Dr. Phil then told him to just go, beat him so Manny thanked him and they shook hands.
