Maxene also admitted being teary-eyed right before she hit the stage to perform as her dad. Her feelings that time, said Maxene, was of brimming pride. “I want to shout to the world how proud I am that I am one of the daughters of Francis Magalona.”

Maxene has always ranked low during her previous performances on the said show, but catapulted to the top when she impersonated her dad.

Maxene herself goes to a Life Coach. She said she goes to Coach Pia Acevedo, one of the coaches at The OneCore, to seek advice. “There’s nothing wrong going to a professional.” In fact, Maxene shared that going to Coach Pia allows her to see the bigger picture in situations.

On the issue that her closeness to fellow impersonator Edgar Allan Guzman is causing problems inEdgar’s relationship with his girlfriend Shaira Mae, Maxene said she already met Shaira Mae and that she “respect(s) their relationship.”

Furthermore, Maxene clarified that her closeness to Edgar is “for the fans.” “It’s just, there are fans who enjoy yung love team namin especially when we did our Grease duet.” Maxene reiterated, “it’s really pangkatuwaan lang.”
