He added, “Kasi pag mag-showbiz sila siguro magpa-padrino ako sa kanila, you know magtatawag ako ng mga friends na ‘Kunin mo naman ‘yung anak ko,’ you know so ‘yun nga I don’t want them to be deprived of that that sense of adventure.”

Ian has three kids and he shared that he has a happy family life. “I have three kids, ‘yung panganay magco-college na, he's 17 halos kasing laki ko na and daughter ‘yung pangalawa and lalaki ‘yung eight years old. Ako I’m happy.”

Besides a flourishing personal life, Ian’s career is moving up as he is set to play a big role in the upcoming soap Pangako Sa’yo as Eduardo Buenavista. He admitted that he feels pressured considering that he will play a very important character in the teleserye. But he is confident that the viewers will like the soap. “The pressure sa aming lahat, you know ‘yung nagawa namin nong ilang weeks, I think we did a wonderful job from the light, from the make up, eveything and ‘yun nga sa tingin ko magiging proud din ‘yung mga tao dati pag napanood nila ngayon, sasabihin nila na okay it is worthy.”
