Kris Aquino is willing to play an ‘older woman’ to James Reid

James said he believes that, “you don’t choose who you fall in love with.” But given a choice, he said he still prefers a woman his own age.</div><div><br/></div><div>Earlier in the show, host Kris Aquino said that, “<i>Kung para dito (James Reid) papayag din akong maging JLo.</i>” This was in reference to Jennifer Lopez’s 2015 movie Boy Next Door, where JLo’s character fell in love with a younger man. However, Kris took back what she said when she learned that James just turned 22 years old.</div><div><br/></div><div>James plays the character of Nico in<i> Para sa Hopeless Romantic.</i> James also said of his onscreen kiss with his love team partner and close friend Nadine Lustre, “it’s very spontaneous.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Asked if, like Nadine, he would want her not to be in a relationship for now, James answered yes. <i>“Siguro yun din ang sasabihin ko sa kanya</i>.” He added, “p<i>ero alam ko </i>she doesn’t want a boyfriend for now.”  James explained that they are both focused on their careers. James elaborated and shared that when he came out of P<i>inoy Big Brother Teen Clash</i> 2010, he fell in love and “I was more focused on my love because I was so in love.” Asked if he means he neglected work because of that love, James admitted, “kind of.” </div><div><br/></div><div>James said there are different kinds inspiration and right now his is his “family, especially my dad.” </div><div><br/></div><div>James also said he had nothing to wish for for his 22nd birthday because “<i>masaya na ako</i>.” If anything, James said he wants to maintain that happiness because “I’m so happy right now e.”</div><div><br/></div>
