According to Jennylyn Mercado and Jericho Rosales, the best part in 'Walang Forever' is their passionate love scene
Despite working for the first time in their Metro Manila Film Festival entry Walang Forever
, Jennylyn Mercado and Jericho Rosales proudly shared that they were able to hit it off right from the get go.
In fact, during their screen test, Jericho shared that he was caught off guard with Jennylyn's candid quips.
"Kasi meron kaming screen test para lang makita ang chemistry... Nagharap palang kami sigawan na sila sa monitor. 'Yung mga director and 'yung mga staff, sigawan na sila," shared Jericho during the film 's recently-concluded grand presscon at Kuya J's Restaurant.
So parang natememe ako."
The prized Kapamilya actor shared that Jennylyn has rendered him speechless a number of times on their set because "Wala kasi siyempre magandang babae na palabiro na medyo dikit na dikit sa set."
Jericho also singled out that Jennylyn's personality is what really allows her to stand out from the rest of his former leading ladies.
"'Yung natural characteristics niya eh. Not her hair, not her face but her inner being na magaang siya kasama," he said.
Walang Forever is directed by box office director Dan Villegas. The film centers on the different love story of Taiwan-based website developer Ethan Isaac played by Jericho as he falls in love with rom-com screenwriter Mia Nolasco played by Jennylyn.
The film, which is a far cry from the heavy drama soaps and flicks that Jericho has done in the past, according to him, will showcase a different side of his artistry. That's despite the fact that he usually cracks "waley" or unfunny jokes, according to Jennylyn.
Without batting an eyelash, Jericho and Jennylyn shared that they would be having a bunch of kissing scenes and even a love scene on the upcoming movie.
"Masasabi ko lang na 'yung love scene namin is napakaganda. Full of love and longing. Ganong klase ng love scene. Hindi ito pang halimawan. Passionate siya," explained Jericho.
Jericho proudly added, "Kasi maganda 'yung part na 'yun eh, one of the most beautiful parts of the film. Kasi matagal kaming hindi nagkita."
Catch Jennylyn and Jericho's first-ever big screen project titled Walang Forever on December 25. Directed by Dan Villegas, Walang Forever is part of the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival.
