Sheryl sang a line of the song in response to the question. '<i>Ito lang ang masasabi ko, gagawin ko na lang sa kanta, sa awitin, 'Mananatili kang mahal sa akin. Tulad ng isang kay gandang awitin.</i>' That's how could I actually give a message.'</div><div><br/></div><div>It was in September when Sheryl voiced out her disagreement of her cousin's decision to run for the presidency. In an interview last September she stated, 'It's just too early. <i>Kung mas marunong nga na senator na si</i> Serge Osmena who's worked closely with my cousin,<i> ang sinabi nga niya,</i> she would make a fine president, just not right now. I'm not belittling her capabilities. It's just that she would be a more effective president come 2022 and not 2016,' she said. Sheryl admitted that she has not talked to Grace since she made the statement. 'We have not spoken.'</div><div><br/></div><div>Despite the fact that they have different views, she stressed that she cares for Grace. The actress remarked that she is actually saddened by the criticisms that her cousin is receiving currently about her citizenship. 'Well <i>siyempre </i>as a family member I am saddened of what is happening but we choose our paths and<i> ako kung ano man ang sinabi ko</i> before was just because I care. Until now I still care for the wellbeing of the entire family, '<i>yun ang akin.</i> Sometimes there are some things <i>na</i> we do not agree upon but it does not mean that we do not care for each othe<i>r, 'yon 'yung akin. </i>We might have different views but at the end of the day family will always be family.'</div><div><br/></div><div>The actress also revealed that it is the first time that they will not be spending Christmas together. 'Actually I'm very saddened because this is the very first Christmas <i>kung saan hindi kami magkakasama dahil napapaligiran ang aking pinsan ng mga taong hindi dapat pinakikinggan so 'yung sa akin </i>I was not the one who caused any kind of destruction,<i> hindi ako lumayo sa family ko</i>, it's the people around <i>na merong mga pansariling</i> interest and<i> inilagay ang aking pinsan sa pamahak.</i> I would not like to expound on this but just the same since <i>andito na tayo </i>and I was preparing myself for this<i>, 'yon lang ang masasabi ko,</i>' she stated.</div><div><br/></div>
