Kris’s son Bimby Aquino-Yap answered, “I gave ninang Cory (Vidanes, Channel Head of ABS-CBN) permission to let mama work.” Kris further explained and said, “Hindi Boy aalis naman kami, they have 15 days of me and it’s just us. It’s him, me, kuya and then one yaya.”
On the other hand, when the King of Talk asked Bimby if he’ll allow his mother to have a boyfriend, he said, “When I’m ready, [when I’m] 13? I don’t know. But if mama has a boyfriend I’ll test him. Like paper stuff yeah like quiz and action stuff.”
When asked about the test, Bimby shared the questions he’ll ask from the future pursuer of her mom’s love.
“What do you look forward to a girl? And then would you love someone that your parents love but you don’t actually love?”
In the end, Bimby gave some advice to the future man of Kris’s life.
“Be the same as my mom, if you don’t you’re disqualified, expelled!” Kris asked her son, “Why what am I?” to which he replied, “You’re the smartest person that I know.” And then he added, “Make my mama happy and give her a lot of love and love her like me.”
Kris portrays the role of Love in Star Cinema’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) film entry All You Need Is Pag-ibig while her son portrays the role of Jake in the same movie.
