EXCLUSIVE: Enrique Gil talks about upcoming soap ‘Dolce Amore’

<div>Enrique Gil is set to star in a new Kapamilya soap titled <i>Dolce Amore</i> with Liza Soberano. <i>“Siyempre ‘yung mga </i>fans <i>sa Forevermore na hindi pa maka-get over ito na magbabalik na kami sa</i> Primetime Bida<i> abangan niyo po yan.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div><img src='' alt='122515-emnrique_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>When asked about the differences of his role and Liza’s role from what they have portrayed in Forevermore, Enrique replied, “Well same director, same love team <i>kami ni</i> Liza,<i> masasabi ko ‘yung </i>characters<i> namin medyo ‘yung landas ng buhay nila, ‘yung fate nila </i>switch <i>so medyo mayaman si</i> Liza <i>ako ‘yung medyo mahirap dito </i>but<i> abangan niyo na lang</i>,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Enrique said that they are doing some major preparations especially on speech and language for the soap. “Si Liza speech, she needs to learn the Italian language<i>. Ako naman pangalan ko si</i> Vicente <i>pero</i> growing up<i> hindi ko </i>ma-pronounce ‘yung S so Vitente so nickname <i>ko si</i> Ten-Ten and like Jose Rizal<i> si </i>‘Joti’ Rital so <i>medyo a</i>wkward <i>pero mas masaya.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Is his role more mature in <i>Dolce Amore</i> compared to his role in <i>Forevermore</i>? “Well<i> medyo naging </i>matured <i>din ‘yung</i> role eh of course<i> sa simula may pagka </i>because he is striving for <i>parang raketero siya eh, h</i>e always look for work<i> para makaipon dahil ang</i> daddy <i>niya nasa ospital </i>so he does everything <i>kahit anong makita niyang raket gagawin niya para makatulong</i>. I mean he strives for working<i> pero </i>he knows how to have fun <i>naman.</i> So throughout the journey of the character, throughout the show, they always become mature.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Enrique hopes that <i>Dolce Amore</i> will bring the same joy that <i>Forevemore</i> did to the Filipino viewers. <i>“Siyempre </i>coming from<i> Forevermore na sobrang </i>big hit with direk Cathy (Garcia-Molina) and the cast we just want to please the people, <i>kahit hindi namnn matapatan ‘yung Forevermore ano lang sana ‘yung feeling na nakuha nila sa Forevermore sana bumalik, masaya lang.” </i></div><div><br/></div>
