Pokwang says she does not want to be called the new Comedy Queen

122315-pokwang_main.jpgFor her latest movie All You Need is Pag-ibig, Pokwang said that she will be featured in a different kind of love story. She will play the loving aunt to two little girls (played by Charo Santos-Concio’s granddaughters and showbiz newcomers Talia and Julia) who finds the meaning of true love with her family. Pero ngayon nadagdagan yung pag-ibig ko, mas na-i-inspired ako because of love. Siyempre huwag natin kakalimutan na kung bigo man tayo sa boyfriend at sa love life, huwag natin kakalimutan na may mga pamilya tayo na talagang totoo at genuine yung pagmamahal sa atin,” she shared.

Happy with her relationship with American actor Lee O’Brien, Pokwang shares some words of comfort to those whose hearts are not so happy this season. The talented comedienne said people should focus on their blessings instead of what they lack in life. So every time na imumulat natin yung mata natin maraming dahilan para maging masaya.

With her busy career on the Kapamilya network Pokwang is slowly being recognized as a force to reckon with in the comedy world. But the All You Need is Pag-ibig actress shared why she does not want to be called the new comedy queen. A title is not something she needs according to Pokwang.

Watch Pokwang in All You Need is Pag-ibig under Star Cinema and showing theaters nationwide starting December 25. It also stars Ian Veneracion, Jodi Sta. Maria, Kris Aquino, Derek Ramsay, Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Nova Villa, and Julia and Talia Concio. Directed by Antoinette Jadaone.
