Miles Ocampo finally lands her first starring role in a teleserye

<div><img src='' alt='120215-miles_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>The long wait is over for teen star Miles Ocampo as she takes on her first starring role in a teleserye.</div><div><br/></div><div>Miles, along with Inigo Pascual, Julia Barretto, Angel Aquino, and Dimples Romana will be starring in <i>And I Love You So</i> which will be premiering on December 7.</div><div><br/></div><div>While she's no stranger to dramatic roles, her character Joanna Ramirez is the first role that she would have to adapt to the longest since it's a teleserye. Miles said she managed to carry herself in the intense scenes with the help of the people she works with.</div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Kapag sa eksena naman talaga mahalaga na kumukuha ka sa kaeksena mo so thankful ako na lagi namang nagbibigay ang mga kaeksena ko dito. So thankful ako kasi lagi naman kaming nagtutulungan,</i>' she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>As someone who's best known for portraying light roles in sitcoms, Miles said she is is looking forward to her new role because '<i>Dati napapanood ko lang 'yun. Na 'yung isa inaapi, 'yung isa ipagtatanggol niya ang sarili niya. So 'yung process ng paggawa namin ng show masaya so excited ako na mapanood nila.</i>'</div><div><br/></div><div>Does she think her fans are ready to see a 'different' Miles?</div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Nakakatuwa naman sila kasi kahit nung mga before pa, 'yung puro sitcom ang ginagawa ko Home Sweetie Home at LuvU, sobrang grabe ang suporta nila lalo ngayon na iba nang gagawin ko simula nung nakita nila ang trailer namin nakakatuwa na ang dami kong natanggap na positive feedbacks galing sa mga tao,</i>' she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>The story willcenter on the competition between Miles's character Joanna and Julia's character Trixie over love, academic excellence, and affirmation. While the show's teaser displayed intense physical and verbal fights between Joanna and Trixie, Miles clarified that she and Julia are actually good friends off cam.</div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Sobrang close kami ni Julia. Sobrang nakakatuwa nga na ang bilis naming nag-click together. Kapag may scenes kami na magkasama ang hirap magpigil lagi ng tawa kasi sobrang masaya kami</i>,' she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>But she quickly added, '<i>Pero kapag 'yung mga eksena na intense na, in fairness naman to us, talagang hindi kami nagpapansinan. Nakakatulong talaga ang isa't-isa.</i>'</div><div><br/></div><div>She likewise shrugged off rumored '<i>sapawan</i>' between them by stressing that they are just doing their job for the soap.</div><div><br/></div><div>Catch Julia, Miles, Inigo, Dimples and Angel on <i>And I Love You S</i>o starting this Monday.</div><div><br/></div>
