After this film, the veteran director said he is already set to work on another project and will tap Andi to play the lead again. Direk Carlo admitted Andi has become one of his favorite actresses to work with. "Nakakawili kasi gawin yung pelikulang may Andi Eigenmann, yung performance niya hahanapin mo pa rin kasi napakahusay niyang aktres. For her age napakahusay niya talagang artista. Para sa akin nga, sa mga na-encounter kong artista, she's one of the best if not the best," he said.
In Angela Markado, Andi plays the role of a woman who survives a gang rape and seeks revenge from each of her rapists. Direk Carlo admitted shooting five different rape scenes with Andi proved to be the most challenging part of the movie for him. "Kasi may hawig na yang genre na ginawa kong ito dun sa mga genre na tinatawag nilang massacre films. Ang selling point nito yung rape na one week naming shinooting. Yung hirap, yung ordeal na inabot ni Andi Eigenmann sa limang rapist. Biro mo after the abduction kinadena siya, ginulpi siya, tinatoo-an siya. BTK or beat, torture and kill ang ginawa sa kanya halos," he admitted.
Watch Andi Eigenmann in Angela Markado starting December 2 in cinemas nationwide. Also starring Bret Jackson, Mika Dela Cruz, Bugoy Carino, Epy Quizon, Polo Ravales, Paolo Contis, Felix Roco, CJ Caparas, and Bembol Roco. Written and directed by Carlo J. Caparas.
