
Celebrities from the Far Eastern University (FEU) and University of Santo Tomas (UST) showed their support in this season’s UAAP basketball finals. FEU and UST both have 1 win and are ready to get the championship today, December 2 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Some celebrities, even though they didn’t study in the two universities have their own bets. Here are some stars who are rooting for the UST Growling Tigers and FEU Tamaraws.
Umagang Kay Ganda hosts
The “Umagang Kay Ganda” hosts Ariel Ureta and Marlo Mortel wore yellow shirts to represent the Growling Tiger pride while Winnie Cordero wore the AB (Arts and Letters) UST uniform. Amy Perez, Jorge Cariño and Anthony Taberna wore green t-shirts to represent the Tamaraws.
John “Sweet” Lapus
John Lapus is vocal about his support for his alma mater UST. He took to Twitter and posted that he can’t watch the game live today because he has an online show “Korek Ka John” at 5pm. He then said that he’ll still cheer for UST.

Vice Ganda
Vice Ganda is an avid supporter of the Tamaraws, as FEU was his former school. He is now on his way to see the last game live.

Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz
Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz, whose characters Popoy and Basha in the movie “One More Chance” and “A Second Chance” are Thomasians, shared their support to the Growling Tigers in a video.
