EXCLUSIVE: Inigo Pascual on teaming up with Miles Ocampo: ‘I never saw it coming’

The young actor plays the role of Justin Santiago on the show. “I’m super thankful to be given the spot, to be given a role in the show. Sobrang masaya ako kasi first teleserye ko ‘to. I’m really excited for it <i>sana magustuhan ng maraming tao</i>,” he said in an interview with <i><a href='/'>Push.com.ph.</a></i></div><div><br/></div><div>Inigo teams up with Miles Ocampo in the soap. He relayed that working with Miles has been smooth because they have been friends since they were still young. “It’s awesome. I’ve known Miles since we were kids, I mean I’m excited <i>kasi </i>I never saw it coming, I never knew that one of my childhood best friends would actually be my <i>ka</i>-love team in the future.”</div><div><br/></div><div>He continued, “If you are a love team I think it’s good to start with friendship to be comfortable with each other so you guys know what each other wants and <i>mas madali kasi hindi kayo naiilang sa isa’t isa</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>For 2016, Inigo will be gearing up for a new chapter of his career as he will soon be releasing his album. “I’m starting my music. I wrote a bunch of songs, I gave out my demos already and that’s going out hopefully by first quarter of 2016.”</div><div><br/></div><div>He shared that he wrote original tracks for his new record. “Well I wrote most of the songs in the album. For most songs, I guess you just have to consult like a bunch of good artists like Sam Concepcion, I asked him about my originals if it was good<i> na kasi siyempre bago mo ibigay dapat maganda, dapat magugustuhan ng mga tao</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Who are the major influences of his new album? “Definitely my dad, Justin Bieber, Sam Concepcion, I like R&B stuff like JayR, Chris Brown, something fun and young.” With so many budding artists in the industry, what does he think is his edge over other stars? “I guess I’m singing and dancing, that’s something different and also just the fact that I’m singing, I mean I never really showed it before.”</div>
