Tutti Caringal shared that his band SixCycleMind will be making a new record soon. “We’re coming up with an album hopefully really soon. We’ve been preparing for it the past few months and abangan nila. We try to make it to a point na it gets little different from the previous album, there’s a little more edge to it and a little more experience to it,” he said in an interview with Push.com.ph.
Aside from being busy playing with his band this year, Tutti stated that 2015 has been a very remarkable year especially that he was given the opportunity to join Your Face Sounds Familiar. He said that it is one of the highlights of his year. “When I joined Your Face Sounds Familiar that was a very fun experience for me and I would like to take the opportunity to thank the management of ABS(CBN) for including me sa first batch. And sa band naman ‘yung highlight namin the fact na we’re still here, we’re still doing what we love to do’ yon na ‘yung highlight na hindi matatapatan ng kahit ano mang gold record or kahit anong award pa and basta longevity as long as we’re here, okay na yun,” he said.
When asked about his greatest realization as an artist this year, he responded, “My greatest realization as an artist this year and in general is that you can’t please everybody and at the end of the day what all matters is you do what you love to do.”
On the second batch of Your Face Sounds Familiar contestants, Tutti remarked that he is truly enjoys watching them. “It’s fun to watch you know, props to everybody, lalo na sa prosthetics team gumaling sila now hindi ko sinasabing hindi sila magaling nong batch namin, siyempre mas alam na nila ‘yung gagawin ganon and also ‘yung second batch aware na sila kung ano ang ginawa namin, paano namin in-approach so they are really doing well.”
What is his advice to the contestants? “Just have fun, don’t think about the performance too much, don’t think about your prosthetics too much, just have fun and do it and pakapalan ng mukha,” he said.
