This coming Sunday, November 8, Pinoy Big Brother 737 will finally name its teen and adult Big Winners live at the Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City.

This will be the first time in ten years that the reality show contest will have two Big Winners at the same time. Vying for the teen Big Winner spot are Ylona, Bailey, Jimboy, and Franco while Dawn, Miho, Tommy, and Roger are the candidates for the adult Big Winner.

In preparation for this momentous event in PBB history, Push listed down the past 11 seasons’ Big Four and their journey to the Big Night.

1. PBB Season 1: Nene, Jayson, Cass, and Uma

The very first season of Pinoy Big Brother began on August 21, 2005 and concluded on December 10 of the same year with Nene Tamayo as its first Big Winner.

Hailing from Romblon, the former ROTC officer bested 12 other housemates including Big Four finalists, 2nd Big Placer Jayson Gainza, 3rd Big Placer Cass Ponti and 4th Big Placer Uma Khouny.

For their Big Four task, Nene, Jayson, Uma and Cass were ordered to destroy their fellow housemates most precious belongings to win the contest. However, the four housemates refused to do so and told Kuya they were going on strike.

During their Big Night almost ten years ago, the four were taken blindfolded and with headphones to the Clark Expo Amphitheater in Angeles City, Pampanga where the event was held.

2. PBB Celebrity Edition 1: Keanna, John, Bianca, and Zanjoe

Following the success of the first season, PBB launched its first celebrity edition almost only two months after, opening on February 5, 2006.

From 14 celebrity housemates, it was Keanna Reeves, John Prats, Bianca Gonzalez, and Zanjoe Marudo who earned the Big Four spots.

For their Big Four task, Keanna, John, Zanjoe and Bianca were given eggs to protect. Kuya then sent ninjas to steal the eggs to show how far the four celebs would go to defend them.

Concluding on April 1 of the same year, they rode a limousine to the Big Night’s location at the Philippine Post Office in Lawton, Manila where Keanna was declared the first celebrity Big Winner.

Meanwhile, John, Bianca, and Zanjoe were announced 2nd, 3rd and 4th Big Placers respectively.

3. PBB Teen Edition 1: Kim, Mikee, Gerald, and Clare

After the first celebrity edition concluded on April 1, the reality show’s first teen edition opened on the 23rd of the same month, 2006.

The season, which had a total of 14 teen housemates, declared Kim Chiu, Mikee Lee, Gerald Anderson, and Clare Cabiguin as PBB’s first teen Big Four.

The first Teen Big Four were taken to the Hundred Islands to perform their Final Task. Gerald and Kim first left the house and did a beach clean-up so Clare and Mikee can join them on the island.

The Big Night which was held on June 3 at the Aliw Theater in Pasay City was fairytale-themed with the Big Four dressed up as royalty. The royal night ended with Kim being declared as the Big Winner, followed by 2nd Big Placer Mikee, 3rd Big Placer Gerald and 4th Big Placer Clare.

It was the first season to use the Secret Housemate, big red phone and
Big Brother Swap, a housemate exchange with another Big Brother household in another part of the world. Tina Semolic from Slovenia was the first foreign Big Brother housemate to step inside the yellow house.

Having a total of 18 housemates, it was Beatriz Saw, dubbed as Mommy Bei, who was declared the Big Winner on June 30 at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao where she and the rest of the Big Four finalists were taken via vintage cars. She garnered 1.5 million public votes.

Meanwhile, the other finalists included 2nd Big Placer Mickey Perz, 3rd Big Placer Wendy Valdez, and 4th Big Placer Gee-Ann Abrahan.

Mariel Rodriguez, one of the show’s hosts, became the longest staying houseguest in this edition.

From 16 celebrity housemates, comedian Ruben Gonzaga, beauty queen Riza Santos, racecar driver Gaby Dela Merced, and model Will Devaughn made it to the Big Four.  They were given the task to build a coin tower before the Big Night.

Their Hollywood-themed awarding was held at the Big Dome, Araneta Coliseum where Ruben was announced Big Winner, followed by Riza (2nd Big Placer), Gaby (3rd Big Placer) and Will (4th Big Placer).

Premiering on March 23, 2008, this season ran until June 7, declaring the now Pasion de Amor actor Ejay Falcon as the Big Winner.

This was the season where the guardians of the housemates watched over them and were also in a contest to become the Guardian Big Four and eventually the Guardian Big Winner.

House players were also used for the first time in this season. Actress Andi Eigenmann was one of the three house players.

But before Ejay and the rest of the teen Big Four namely Robi Domingo (2nd Big placer), Nicole Uysiuseng (3rd Big Placer), and Beauty Gonzalez (4th Big Placer) were crowned in the outer space-themed Big Night at the Big Dome, it will be remembered that international music icon Flo Rida visited them inside the house.

True to its season’s title, the number of housemates doubled as 26 aspirants made it to Big Brother’s house. They also lived in two different “houses” under one roof. The show premiered on October 4, 2009 and concluded February 13 of the following year.

However, unlike the previous seasons, Double Up declared a Big Five instead of the usual Big Four. This consisted of Melai Cantiveros who became the Big Winner with 1.2 million votes, 2nd Big Placer Paul Jake, 3rd Big Placer Jason, 4th Big Placer Johan and 5th Big Placer Tibo.

Inspired by Valentines Day, the Big Night was dubbed “Big Date on the Big Night” and was held at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Manila.

If PBB Double Up had a Big Five, the Teen Clash of 2010 had a Big Six instead of the usual Big Four.

The “clash” in the edition meant another set of housemates called the Teenternational Housemates, who were all foreigners living in the Philippines.

During its science fiction-themed Big Night held at the Ynares Stadium in Antipolo on June 26, 2010, now On The Wings of Love actor James Reid was declared the Big Winner.

It’s Showtime host Ryan Bang followed after while Fretzie Bercede was hailed 3rd Big Placer. Devon Seron, Ivan Dorschner and Bret Jackson landed the 4th, 5th and 6th spots respectively.

The house was divided into 5 spaces during this edition – the slums, the Industrial House, Luxury House, The Resort, and the Hacienda. Kuya also introduced the “Kontra-battles” where the two households must compete in 10 tasks and win 150,000 per game.

Besting out 32 housemates was Cebuano engineer Slater Young who was declared Big Winner during its Big Night celebration at the Quirino Grandstand.

Meanwhile, it was a very close fight between 2nd Big Placer Pamu Pamorada, and 3rd Big Placer Joseph Biggel with only a .10% difference in the total percentage of public votes. Paco Evangelista was 4th Big Placer.

Implementing the Vote to Save and Vote to Evict voting schemes, she garnered a total of 33.92% of public votes while 2nd Big Placer Karen Reyes followed with 11.91%.

After taking a yearlong break, PBB returned to national TV on April 27, 2014 with its new season called, All In. All In featured housemates from all walks of life, regardless of age and status.

From 19 housemates, it was Brazilian-Japanese model Daniel Matsunaga, teen from Davao Maris Racal, actress Jane Oineza, and beauty queen Vickie Rushton who made it to the Big Four.

Just like the previous season, All In also implemented the Vote to Save and Vote to Evict voting schemes during the Big Night held at the Resorts World Manila. Consequently, Daniel was declared the Big Winner after garnering a total of 11.69% of public votes.
