The all-Filipina girl group 4th Impact’s journey to become the X Factor UK
’s champion has already come to an end after getting eliminated last November 29. Before the elimination, the group performed the song “And I am Telling You I’m Not Going” to fight for their place in the top 4. The group and Lauren Murray were in the bottom two.
Judges Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini voted for the group to stay while Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw chose Lauren which resulted to letting the public have the final say through voting. The group had the least number of votes but they thanked their British supporters for giving them the chance to perform.
After the elimination, it was reported that their youngest member Celina collapsed and was carried out of the studio by an ambulance. Her other sisters though have updated on Twitter that she is now ok.
Cheryl, who is also their mentor, took to Twitter to thank the girls. So did Rita Ora even though she voted for her ward Lauren.
Lauren, Che Chesterman, Louisa Johnson and the duo Reggie ‘N’ Bollie are the acts remaining in the competition.
