A netizen refutes a tabloid article’s claim that Kathryn Bernardo’s endorsement of Mar Roxas was approved by INC.
For days, several followers of Teen Queen Kathryn Bernardo have been wondering as to whether or not she’s still an Iglesia ni Cristo
member. But, two Facebook posts asserting Bernardo’s “disfellowshipping” as an INC member are currently making the rounds online.
The first one was by a certain Daniel Gullos, who according to the comments, was a supposed INC minister.
Gullos’s post was actually a reaction to Cristy Fermin’s tabloid article claiming that Bernardo’s endorsement of Liberal Party standard bearer Mar Roxas was approved by INC.
Moreover, the same headline claimed that the Pangako Sa’Yo
star supposedly received a fee in the millions for the endorsement she has with Teen King Daniel Padilla.
After the release of the commercial and the public’s reaction, Roxas, in recent reports, claimed that there was “no money involved” in the KathNiel endorsement.
Meanwhile, a certain Jay Phi posted a series of pictures featuring Bernardo doing things that are not supposed to be done by an INC member.
Among the things that he included was a photo of Bernardo wearing a Mrs. Santa Claus outfit, another one while wearing a necklace with a crucifix pendant and a photo of her standing side by side with Roxas, among others.
Some netizens’ comments claimed that Bernardo had already left INC for some time now.
This is not the first time that Bernardo has been attacked due to her religious ties. In 2013, Bernardo was also lambasted for celebrating Christmas and for even putting up a Christmas tree in their home.
