Heart Evangelista: ‘It’s all about finding balance at the end of the day’

111915-HEART_main.jpgWhen it comes to juggling various roles in her life from being an actress, to being an artist, to being a wife and an author, Heart Evangelista remarked that it’s all about finding balance at the end of the day. “Well it’s fun because I love doing everything I’m doing now. It’s tiring I must say but it’s the gusto and the love of what I’m doing that keeps me going. I bring my paintings to my tapings so bago ako umiyak nagpa-paint ako on set, I’m working on my book, it’s really about balancing your life. If you want something done, you need to do it today and it’s a matter of scheduling everything para magawa mo ‘yun,” she stated.

As a wife to Senator Chiz Escudero, Heart makes sure that spending quality time with Chiz’s kids is a major priority. “Whenever I have time, whenever I can bring them with me, whether it’s work or going to the mall or to the church I bring them while I can. It’s just a matter of really knowing your priorities and being a child it won’t last forever [so] I want to make sure that I give [them] really good memories,” she said.

Heart is also now busy supporting her husband Chiz Escudero who is running for the vice-presidency in the 2016 elections. Heart is known to be friends with Miriam Defensor-Santiago who is running for the presidency of the opposing party. Despite the fact that Chiz and Miriam are running for different parties, Heart remarked that she is still good friends with Senator Miriam.

“We’re very good, actually we’re on the phone the other day for an hour, we’re very good. I sent her one of my books. I sent her also a painting. We’re very good. It shouldn’t change. Madaming pamilya nasisira sa politika and I’m not like that, my family is not like that and my friends, my real friends, they shouldn’t be like that and as a person I’m also open-minded.”

“So tita Miriam, my mom will support her for the presidency, it’s natural kasi magkaibigan sila and she also told me the same she said ‘You’re married to him you should support Grace (Poe) and Chiz and that’s natural. Friends will be friends no matter what, no need to explain,” she stated.
