With many moviegoers taking notice of his growth and depth as an actor in the movie, Enrique felt flattered with the positive feedback. "I'm happy at least I'm learning something sa tagal ko sa industriya. Well hindi pa masyado matagal pero at least I'm learning, siyempre 'yung director namin was also helping me out. I just wanted to be different di ba? Sa previous character ko, ayaw kong sabihin nila na 'Oh si Xander 'yun ah'. I want it to be Ethan (his role in the film), nakikilala mo si Ethan dahil sa movie na yan," he stated.
On what's next for LizQuen (his tandem with Liza Soberano), Enrique relayed that they were already done with the pitching for their new show. "Actually kaka-pitching lang namin ng bagong teleserye. It's going to be really nice, maganda 'yung story niya so I can't wait for it to come out. Actually malapit na yata kaming mag-start eh. I think early December so watch out for it guys." he said.
He added that their new show is totally different from their previous projects. "It's different, can't really say much about it sa ngayon basta masasabi ko it's different from Forevermore, iba 'yung character ko don, iba din si Liza sa character niya sa Forevermore," he said.
Now that Christmas is fast approaching, Enrique is hoping to take some time off before their taping for the new show starts. "Sana kung pwede magbakasyon sana magbakasyon pero feeling ko magta-taping na kami so siguro sa beach house lang, pag hindi pa tapos baka don na lang muna kami sa Batangas, di muna lalayo, kailangan magpahinga din para sa soap," he stated.
