EXCLUSIVE: Coleen Garcia on her movie projects: 'I want to be able to do something that's different'

<div><img src='' alt='100615-COLEEN_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>After recently headlining a challenging role in the hit movie <i>Ex With Benefits</i>, Coleen Garcia remarked that she wants to play more out-of-the-box roles in her next projects. 'Well I want to keep something different in terms of my characters in films. I want to be able to do something that's different from my last project so that's my goal all the time as an actress, to keep doing something that's different from the last,' she said in an interview with Push.com.ph.</div><div><br/></div><div>Coleen will soon be headlining a new movie. Though there are no definite details yet on when she will begin filming it, the actress-host shared that it is a very exciting project.</div><div><br/></div><div>'I have a new movie but we haven't started filming yet. It's nothing concrete yet but hopefully <i>matutuloy siya.</i> We will start on it very soon.<i> Hindi ko pa alam [kung sino ang l</i>eading man], surprise pa but I know the story and I know it's a nice story.'</div><div><br/></div><div>Coleen is currently busy with the sixth anniversary special of It's Showtime wherein she will be joining boyfriend Billy Crawford for their Magpasikat performance soon. On their preparations, Coleen admitted that thinking of the concept for their performance is not easy. 'Well it's a bit hard and a bit challenging for all of us because we have to think something that we haven't done before, each one of us, and it's hard because you know we are on a show where we actually stepped out of our boundaries and stepped out of the box in our performances and we have gotten to try so many things so it's hard to think of things that we actually haven't done before,' she said.</div><div><br/></div><div><a href='http://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/itsshowtime/videos/2015/10/03/1031577-breathtaking-performance-of-coleen-garcia'>Coleen recently performed in the Kapamilya Thank You Day show of It's Showtime at Binan, Laguna. According to her, there will be more exciting performances that will happen in the show.</a> 'This whole month, we are giving a taste of what's to come of our <i>Magpasikat episode. We will be doing different things pero hindi pa 'yun ang aabangan sa Magpasikat mismo</i>.' She added, 'This whole thing that we’re doing, tavelling to different places, meeting the madlang people face to face, it’s really exciting,” she said.</div>
