EXCLUSIVE: Jugs Jugueta & Teddy Corpuz comments on Kamikazee’s hiatus

<img src='' alt='100515-jugsteddy.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'><div>During the 6th anniversary celebration of “<i>It’s Showtime</i>” last October 3 at the Alonte Sports Arena in Binan, Laguna, Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz were asked about their opinion on the hiatus of band Kamikazee.</div><div><br/></div><div>The band recently held their last bar gig last September 28 at the 12 Monkeys Music Hall in Makati.</div><div><br/></div><div>LOOK: <a href='https://push-data.abs-cbn.com/push/archive/features/45773/parokya-ni-edgar-supports-kamikazee-in-their-huling-sayaw/'>Kamikazee's 'Huling Sayaw'</a></div><div><br/></div><div>Both front men of their respective bands Itchyworms and Rocksteddy, Jugs and Teddy say they respect the decision of their fellow musicians.</div><div><br/></div><div>Teddy said, he doesn’t believe the band will be gone, but would probably just take a break. He compared it to his band, which he thinks will also take a break eventually, but wouldn’t announce it formally.  </div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Okay naman, parang hindi kasi ako naniniwala sa ‘yung</i> rest.<i> Oo, okay mag-rest. </i> <i>Pero kung kami, kung Rocksteddy yung magre-rest hindi na namin sasabihin na magre-rest kami basta rest nalang kami. ‘O anong bago sa inyo?’ Wala, pahinga muna kami pero hindi na namin i-aannounce na ‘Guys, magre-rest muna kami ng ilang taon’ basta ano lang mawawala lang kami magre-rest lang kami pero babalik ulit kami kumbaga wala nang announcement whatsoever,” </i>Teddy said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Jugs on the other hand said it’s the band’s choice to take a hiatus and he respects it.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Ako ang comment ko dun, walang basagan ng trip, kung trip nilang magpahinga okay lang,”</i> he added.</div><div><br/></div><div>Kamikazee will hold their last show this December and will take a break from performing in 2016.</div><div><br/></div>
