Regine Velasquez feels for Angel Locsin needing to bow out of ‘Darna’

Hindi ko kasi napanood 'yung</i> interview but I saw it <i>sa </i>Instagram. But she is right, she has to first take care of herself before anything else,<i> kasi mahirap 'yung</i> back eh,' she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>During Angel’s interview, she explained that she may have contracted the injury due to the two-year training that she’s been preparing for the role and the many times that she fell on her back while shooting other films in the past.</div><div>To this, her former co-TV network commented, 'You know, that girl <i>kasi</i> she's so athletic. <i>Minsan kasi kapag bata ka hindi mo napapansin, sige lang tira ng tira, go lang ng go</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>What’s sad, according to Regine is that sometimes the realizations comes a little too late since “As you get older, you realize that you are not a superwoman. You are not<i> Darna</i> actually, you are just a normal person.”</div><div><br/></div><div>While she recognizes how difficult the decision could’ve been for Angel, Regine lauded her for being wise enough to do the right thing.</div><div>'</div><div><i>Saludo naman ako doon sa ginawa niya</i>,' she said.</div>
