Jolina Magdangal admits she’s ready for baby number two

102915-JOLINA_main.jpgIn their first product endorsement as a family, Jolina Magdangal admitted she was happy her husband musician Mark Escueta agreed to do the campaign with her and baby Pele. “Si Mark supportive siya. Pag alam niyang ikabubuti ng family namin or ikakasaya ng family namin, kumbaga maayos na magiging kasama namin or magiging kaibigan ng family namin, go-go yan. Pero siya ipapaliwanag niya na ganito ganyan so kahit sabihin natin na medyo low profile siya, pero siya yung mas malawak ang pag-iisip sa akin kasi siya yung buma-balanse ng isip ko kaya madali ko naman siya mapapayag sa mga bagay na alam kong makakabuti sa amin,” she shared during the Super Twins premium baby diaper presscon held last October 27 at Oriental Palace restaurant in Quezon city.

The 36-year-old actress said she was really happy with how the brand handled their endorsement deal. Eto walang halong bola, nagustuhan talaga namin yung Super Twins,” she admitted.

With Pele turning two next February, Jolina said she is happy to have raised such a sociable child. Even during the event, he was seen playing and mingling with the guests while his parents were backstage. Mas active siya kapag ganun,” Jolina said.

It has even come to the point where Pele seems to have endeared himself more to the ABS-CBN staff according to Jolina.

Christened Pele Inigo Escueta, Jolina said her husband can better explain how they were able to decide on his name. Mark, who is a drummer for Rivermaya, admitted he chose the name Pele not just because he is a soccer fan. "Yung pangalan na Pele, dahil may kanta kaming Himala so naghahanap ako ng name na same meaning ng himala. Pero wala akong makita until nag-research ako sa iba ibang languages and in Hebrew pala, miracle is pele. So dun nanggaling. And mahilig din ako sa football so Pele is a football star kaya ayun,” he explained.

Even as a performer, Mark admitted he has yet to get used to being part of his wife’s industry, especially now that they are endorsing a product together.

During the Super Twins diapers presscon, Jolina also admitted that they are already preparing to expand their family with baby number two. "Parang naisip namin next year mga siguro sa last quarter. Siguro mga November 3. Wah, may date pa! (laughs) Hindi siguro mga next year pa, ganun. Sana girl ang next,” she shared.
