Shaina Magdayao talks about having kids

<div><img src='' alt='102815-SHAINA_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Kapamilya actress Shaina Magdayao graced the launch of SMILE Center and their second enrichment program, Challenge Island, at 142 Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City last Sunday, October 25.</div><div><br/></div><div>“We’re partnering with institutions already for Engineering for Kids (their first enrichment program) and <i>ito namang</i> Challenge Island, we’re offering it now as camps, ‘<i>yung mga parang</i> programs <i>sa</i> birthday party, team-buildings so this is not just for kids, also for adults <i>kasi ginagawa rin namin siya sa mga </i>team-buildings ng companies,” she said about her latest venture, adding that it helps enhance kids’ social skills.</div><div><br/></div><div>When asked why this project is close to her heart, Shaina replied, “<i>Malapit kasi sa’kin ang mga bata eh</i>. Obviously, <i>mahilig talaga ako sa mga bat</i>a so I guess it’s really perfect.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Moreover, she said that this inspires her to take up Psychology, something she really wanted to do. “Investment-wise, <i>di ba parang pinakamagandang</i> investment <i>kasi </i>education. Actually, <i>naiinspire nga ako kasi matagal ko ng gustong magtake up ng</i> Psychology so s<i>iguro kapag medyo nakaluwag-luwag na sa</i> schedule, I’ll be able to take it, di ba? Not only for the business <i>pero para rin siguro sa sarili k</i>o,” she said. </div><div><br/></div><div>Since she mentioned her fondness for children, does Shaina want to have her own kids too? “Actually, <i>meron na kong pitong anak, ‘yun ang aking pitong pamangkin</i>. And then<i> dumagdag pa si </i>Nathaniel (Marco Masa) at saka si Abby (Yesha Camille) so <i>parang</i> feeling <i>ko, siyam na ‘yung pamangkin ko</i>… Even in Nathaniel<i>, siguro nakita niyo naman kung gaano ka-natural sa akin maging si </i>Nay Nay Rachel<i> hanggang maski nga tapos na ‘yung show, feeling ko ako pa rin si</i> Nay Nay Rache<i>l nila </i>so I gues<i>s, malapit talaga sa akin ‘yung mga bata. Pero ang (my) kids, eh ‘wag muna siguro</i>.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Revealing that she wants to have four children in the future, when does she plan to have her own? “I’m turning 26 (years old) pa lang next month so <i>siguro pag-iisipan ko ‘yan</i> by January next year,” she quipped, adding that she will enjoy her “me time” first this November and December. </div><div><br/></div><div>Earlier, Shaina said that she would be taking a birthday leave, “I’ll take a birthday leave lang and hopefully by early next year,<i> magstart na</i> (ng work).” The actress also said that the second season of her Cinema One show, <i>Single/ Single</i> will start next year as well.</div>
