On Tonight with Boy Abunda, Everyday, I Love You star Liza Soberano responded to some of the revelations made by Enrique Gil in his previous interview.
During Enrique’s (also known as Quen) interview on the show, he was quoted saying that he is both Liza’s “man of her dreams” and the “man of who will make her dreams come true.” The actress answered somewhat shyly saying, “Definitely, he is not the man of my dreams. Kasi dati, syempre, when you’re young may iniisip kang prince charming mo, and hindi siya yun eh. Ang prince charming ko nun, I had a big crush when I was little, he was a boy from our church, he was the son of the pastor, and he would play the drums. He didn’t really know me but I liked looking at him from afar.
“(Quen) is the man who will make my dreams come true,” the actress said. “No promo intended or anything, but really, kasi, when I started working with Quen, my dreams started coming true.”
Quen also mentioned in his previous interview that he intends to bring Liza to Disneyland in Paris for her birthday. On that, the actress said, “Dream ko po talaga mag Paris. Kaya sabi ko, sa 18th birthday ko, gagawin ko po talaga yun. In my life, hindi pa po ako nag Disneyland, kahit taga America ako, never ako nag Disneyland.”
On this trip, the actress plans to bring a bunch of people close to her, from her best friend to her makeup artist. When asked if Quen was going with her, she replied, “He really wants to bring me to Disneyland kasi it’s one of my dreams. According to him, yes; him, his sister, and his mom.”
Quen was also quoted to have said that he tells Liza, “I love you” everyday. The host then asked the actress, “Do you also tell him, I love you, too, Quen, everyday?”
The actress shyly replied, “Tito Boy, ang hirap naman. Kasi pag nag-ii love you siya sa akin, alam mo yun yung habang kunwari nagche-change ng set-up. Parang mang-aasar siya, ‘I love you.’ Parang ako, ‘(mang-aasar din) I love you, too.’ Parang pinaparinig namin sa tao. Jinojoke joke lang namin.”
Quen is also close with Liza’s family. Liza shares that they would go out sometimes, her, Quen, her father and her brother.
When asked what the best thing about Quen was, the actress answered, “yung pagiging makulit nya. Kasi kahit drained ako, kahit sunod-sunod ang trabaho, basta andiyan sya, nagpapatawa sya, nanggugulat sya, parang nawawala yung pagod ko.”
On the sweetest thing the actor has ever done for her so far, the actress said, “Sinurprise nya ako sa Valentine’s Day – at the set he fixed up this one room (…) and he turned the music on and had flowers, cupcakes, a big teddy bear, tapos may mga gifts.”
Lastly, the host asked, “Sino ang sinasabihan mo ng ‘Everyday, I Love You?’”
Referring to Quen’s character in the movie, Liza loudly said, “Si Ethan!”
