Shamcey Supsup and Lloyd Lee on having a baby: 'We waited for two years, that's really our plan'

102615-SHAMCEYLLOYD_main.jpgOn Rated K, Shamcey Supsup and husband Lloyd Lee shared how people were pressuring them into conceiving right after they were married. However, the couple decided otherwise.

“We waited for two years, that's really our plan. We really wanted to spend time with each other. Ang plano talaga namin before ako mag-30, we’ll have a baby and I’m turning 30 next year, so perfect lang,” Shamcey said.

Lloyd also recalled, “Nung kinasal kami, (yun) yung stage of adjustment namin, so question namin sa isa’t isa. So kumbaga, pinlano muna namin yung stage ng life namin. Sabi ko o sige, at least ma-enjoy natin together and also makapag-adjust tayo together.”

A stable business was also a consideration for Shamcey and Lloyd. “Nung naging okay na rin yung business, naging stable na siya, parang we were talking about it. Sabi niya, ‘ano pwede na tayo mag-baby, pwede na kaya?’ Parang ganun,” Lloyd further shared.

Shamcey is already seven months pregnant but they are still unaware of their baby’s gender. It’s not that they don’t want to know, it’s because even their doctor is having a difficult time telling the baby’s gender.

“We want to find out. The next checkup namin malalaman na. Nung una sinabi sa amin, two months, 99 percent boy. Nung four months, 99 percent girl.

Shamcey also admitted to being afraid of giving birth.

Other than being not sure about their baby’s gender and Shamcey’s fear of giving birth, everything is going according to plan. The excited parents shared that they are talking of and have mapped out more than their baby’s infanthood.

The couple also designed their new home and they will be moving in before their baby is born.
