With the start of his new Primetime Bida series You’re My Home, Richard Gomez said that he and Dawn Zulueta hope it will not come to a point when taping will become stressful.
"Yung experience namin sa Walang Hanggan, dumating yung time na nagha-hand-to-mouth kami and we had to talk to our spouses and family,” he shared.
Working again with his perennial leading lady Dawn is always a good experience according to Goma.
"The good thing about Dawn is that we’ve remained friends and all these years pag nagkakasama kami ni Dawn sa set lagi kaming nagke-kuwentuhan. Siyempre kami ni Dawn when we were young nagkaroon kami ng boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. It was a very intense love but pagkatapos nun nung natapos na yung relationship namin we remained friends. Kahit na may mga sariling pamilya na kami, may mga asawa na kami, we’re still very good friends," he explained.
With his plans to run for mayor of Ormoc City again in the works for next year, Goma said that no matter the outcome of the elections, he does not see himself saying goodbye to acting at all.
"Well I can work on weekends. Walang problema naman yun. Everything can be worked out. Sabi ko nga, kung manalo ako, I will bring the show to Ormoc at dun tayo magtratrabaho, dun tayo gumawa ng teleserye,” he stated.
Richard also shared that part of the secret that has kept the magic of their love team CharDawn alive throughout the years is their being picky when it comes to projects.
"Masaya yung working relationship namin lagi ni Dawn. Kami kasi pag may ino-offer na project sa amin pinag-uusapan naming dalawa. Hindi yung basta may offer tanggap agad. Pinag-aaralan namin dalawa if this project will be good for our time din. Magiging lasting ba ito? Will this make an impression? Dapat ganun eh. Magiging commercially viable ba ito? Do we think na magiging successful ito? Maraming factors din ang kino-consider ni Dawn when we do a project together,” he revealed.
