Nadine Lustre reacts to Jadine being pitted against AlDub

Hanggang sa maging malaking ano na yun</i> so as much as possible nag-ka-cap ako,” she said during the<a href='onthewingsoflove.abs-cbn.com'> On the Wings of Love</a> Media Day held last October 12 inside ABS-CBN.</div><div><br/></div><div>Just like her love team partner James Reid, Nadine said she also gets her share of bashers. '<i>Minsan. Pag na-ba</i>-bash <i>siya, na-ba</i>-bash <i>din ako</i> (laughs). S<i>abay kami. Minsan kasi nagiging masyado silang</i> personal. Y<i>ung pati yung </i>parents<i> ko nadadamay, yung mga ganun. Pero ini</i>-ignore<i> ko na lang. Kasi kung papatulan mo sasabihin pa sa iyo pumapatol ka. </i>So<i> huwag na lang pansinin</i>,” she explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>Nadine said she knows the sacrifices of being part of a successful love team and understands fans who cannot accept it when she and James are linked to other people on or offscreen. 'Hi<i>ndi ko alam kung anong isasagot ko</i>. Eh kasi normal <i>naman yun kung</i> super fanatic<i> ka talaga kasi </i>even before <i>na</i>-experience <i>ko din yun</i> before. <i>Yung mga</i> movies dati. P<i>arang may gusto ako sila na magkatuluyan</i>. So I think it’s normal<i> naman. </i>Thank you pa rin kasi still they support us. Me and James we’re a team. We’re partners in crime so k<i>ahit naman medyo parang </i>in real life<i> gusto nila kaming magkatuluyan,</i> okay lang<i> kasi sumusuporta pa rin naman sila sa amin,</i>” she admitted.</div><div><br/></div><div>Since she and James are both too busy at the moment to have a love life, Nadine said she is not worried if he would ever court another girl. '<i>Eh kung meron naman sasabihin naman niya sa akin din namin</i>. So if h<i>indi niya sinasabi sa akin</i>, usually there’s nothing to worry about,” she explained. As much as their fans want them to end up together, Nadine isn’t saying anything final. <i>'Tignan natin pero ngayon kasi talagang</i> focused kami. K<i>asi nag</i>-wo-work s<i>iya ngayon</i> so <i>ayaw namin maging</i> complicated <i>kasi</i> well <i>kasi</i> if <i>magkaroon kami ng </i>away or something<i> siyempre mahirap magtrabaho pagka-meron pang ganun</i>,” she added.</div><div><br/></div><div>With people pitting their love team against another popular pair AlDub, Nadine said she is not in showbiz to compete in popularity. 'H<i>indi ko rin alam eh kasi </i>first time <i>kong narinig yun. Ako ngayon hindi ako nag</i>-<i>so</i>-social media.<i> Parang</i> we’re not competing<i> naman kasi.</i> We don’t look at things <i>na parang ganun. Hindi naman</i> competition y<i>ung tingin namin, parang pare-parehas kami ng henerasyon</i>,” she shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>The On the Wings of Love star also wanted to put to rest her rumored rift with Kathryn Bernardo whom she was seen talking to at a recent Kapamilya Thank You event. 'Okay<i> naman. Kasi sa amin naman wala naman talagang</i> issue. <i>Nag-uusap naman kami</i>. About the prod number,<i> ganyan. Nag-uusap pero hindi pa naman ganun</i>g level,” she admitted. In fact Nadine is even open to working with the <a href='pangakosayo.abs-cbn.com'><i>Pangako Sa ‘Yo</i> </a>star in the future if there is an opportunity. 'Opo. Why not<i> naman po.
