Currently seen on the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime, Pastillas Girl (real name Angelica Yap) said she was happy to be part of the Showtime Kapamilya Day event held last September 26 at the Araneta Coliseum. She said she is happy to be part of a helpful portion of the show. “Favorite ko yung AdVice Ganda kasi yun yung marami tayong natutulungan, madami tayong na-a-advice-an, marami tayong nagagabayan. Hindi lang siya for entertainment. May natututunan tayo na maganda. Sa Showtime ang favorite kong host siyempre si Ate Vice Ganda kasi napakatotoo niyang tao. Yun naman talaga ang gustong ipakita ng Showtime eh, yung totoong nangyayari at yung totoong mga reaction ng tao. So gusto ko siya kasi totoo siya,” she told Push.com.ph.
Even with her growing popularity, Pastillas Girl said she still has no plans of joining showbiz. “Hindi eh. Kasi may mga tao nagsasabi sa akin na, ‘Uy artista ka na ah!’ Pero sabi ko sa kanila hindi ako artista, totoong tao ako. And kapag sinasabi nila na ang dami ko ng fans, sinasabi ko wala akong fans, meron lang akong supporters and haters. And hindi sila fans, supporters sila,” she admitted.
If there is one thing she has learned from her experiences, Pastillas Girl said it is to move on and be happy. “Biggest lesson is forgiveness, yun talaga. Kasi dumating na yung ex ko, dumating na yung best friend ko sa Showtime and let’s face it, if it weren’t for the show wala akong chance na makausap sila,” she added.

The outspoken girl said that contrary to what her bashers think, what you see is what you get with Angelica Jane. “Ako talaga ito eh. Hindi nga seryoso ako.”
After meeting prospective suitors through Showtime, Pastillas Girl said she still believes in forever and in finding true love someday. “Oo naman. Hopeless romantic pa rin ako. Sobra!” she said.
When we asked if she had a crush in showbiz, Pastillas Girl could not hide her excitement at the thought of answering. “Yiiii! (laughs) Si Enrique Gil. Matagal ko na siyang crush. Matagal na. Kahit nung hindi pa siya nag-fo-Forevermore,” she admitted. The Showtime regular guest said she was so inspired when she finally met the popular Kapamilya hunk in person. “Nakapag-pa-picture na ako sa kanya one time nung nag-te-taping pa sila ni Liza Soberano for yung last movie nila. Sobrang bait niya, sobrang guwapo. Parang Barbie! Parang wala siyang pores,” she said.
