It doesn't matter who's the love team o kung sino ang kasama ko, ang importante is the role na gagamapanan ko. Interesting ba siya? Kakaiba ba siya? I think mapapansin mo sa trailer pa lang parang medyo may parang may sipa na eh, so 'yon 'yung goal ko and as an actor 'yon 'yung number one priority ko na sana with every project gumagaling ako lalo, I mean ginagawa ko 'yung best ko para makakuha ako ng bagong matututunan</i>,' he said in an interview with Push.com.ph. </div><div><br/></div><div>Despite being the more experienced actor compared to his co-stars Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano, he remarked that he learned a lot of lessons as well from them. </div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Hindi naman ibig sabihin dahil na mas experience at mas mature ako sa kanila and mas matagal ako na wala akong natutunan at nakuha sa kanila. Every project may bago akong natutunan which is 'yon 'yung goal ko</i>,' he said. </div><div><br/></div><div>As part of continually growing as an actor, is he willing to give the Hollywood scene a shot and go international? </div><div><br/></div><div>'Gusto kong ma-experience 'yung Hollywood,' he quickly responded. </div><div><br/></div><div>'H<i>indi lang dahil gusto kong sumikat sa Hollywood dahil gusto kong ma-experience 'yung kultura nila. Siyempre dito, kumbaga kahit papano may pangalan na ako dito so mga projects binibigay na lang sa akin. So gusto kong maranasan 'yung auditions, paghirapan mo, kasi hindi ko alam kung kaya ko eh. Takot kasi ako sa ganon eh, mahiyain ako sa ganon so kumbaga siguro mahirap pag naging komportable ka, I mean sobrang blessed ako, sobrang thankful ako na sila 'yung nag-iisip ng proyekto para sa akin but I think as an actor kung matutunan ko 'yun sa Hollywood, 'yung kultura nila, pagbalik ko dito sa Pilipinas magiging iba na 'yung dynamics and I think that will be an edge na meron ako with other actors, yeah I would love to do that,</i>' he added.</div><div><br/></div><div>Gerald is open to audition for any genre of movie if given the opportunity. </div><div><br/></div><div>'<i>Ayokong ma-stereotype sa isang genre lang tulad ng career ko dito that's why siguro kung napansin niyo from the start of my career iba-iba 'yung roles na ginawa ko and that was by choice na I want to be a better actor and wala sa akin kung lead role, kung support, support sa support, ang importante kung gaano siya ka-importante sa kwento,</i>' he said. </div>
