What to expect from ‘It’s Showtime’ Cebu show

101715-SHOWTIME_main.jpgThe whole It’s Showtime family is bringing the entire celebration to Cebu City on Saturday, October 17, 2015. The Kapamilya noontime show is all set for hours of non-stop performances and fun segments for all the madlang Cebuanos at Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu, Cebu.

On what to expect in the Cebu show, Anne Curtis assured everyone that it is going to be a fun-filled show with the finale of Lip Swak and with their newly- launched segments. “We have of course the Lip Swak finals championships na talagang dito ‘yan gagawin. All our new segments, we are all having it here so it’s going to be fun, it’s going to bring happiness to madlang people to thank them for all the support they’ve given us,” she said in an interview at the press conference in Cebu last Friday, October 16, 2015.

The actress-host quipped that she is still thinking on whether or not she will sing. “Titingnan ko kung kakanta ako, pag-iisipan ko pa ‘yun pero ano eh I’m sure it’s going to be a really, really fun show tomorrow, we just want to make our madlang Cebuanos really, really happy,” she said.

Billy Crawford relayed that many Kapamilya stars will also grace the show to bring laughter and joy to the madlang Cebuanos. He also shared that they will be doing surprise performances in preparation for the Magpasikat grand showdown which is happening soon.

“May mga guest din po coming from Manila din na makikisaya sa amin, ang LizQuen (Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil) nandito din sila. May mga ibang production numbers din po kami na hindi pa namin nagagawa sa studio kasi katulad nong nandon kami sa Laguna may iba kaming ipinakita. Also ito po ang preparation ng Magpasikat week namin so Magpasikat month po ito so talagang we are just going to try to make the people as happy as possible and I think finale na rin namin ng Mr. Pastillas dito rin gaganapin sa Cebu,” he said.

According to It’s Showtime’s business unit head Reily Santiago, bringing the show to Cebu is their way of giving thanks to their supporters and as part of their sixth anniversary celebration. “It’s our anniversary month and the last time we were here was five years ago so it’s our second time to be here. It’s our campaign also, it’s celebrating our sixth year and it’s our [way of] saying thank you to all our Kapamilyas lalong lalo na dito sa Cebu,” he said.
