In John Lapus’s Korek ka John show on Push.com.ph last October 14, Ella Cruz shared the reason behind her decision to transfer from Star Magic to VIVA Entertainment.
“Wala na po [ako sa Star Magic]. Gusto lang namin ni Mama na mag-explore ng konti.”
Ella is currently a part of TV 5’s Saturday series. She clarified that the show didn’t require her to change management and that they just wanted to explore their options.
Ella announced before the Grand Finals of It’s Showtime’s segment Clash of Celebrities that she couldn’t join due to an accident during rehearsals.
“Nung Wednesday night ako nag rehearsal para sa Saturday na Grand Finals then gumagawa kami ng panibagong stunt kasi nga ‘di ba flying sexy parang cheering siya bato bato talaga, nasalo naman po ako kaya lang ilang beses namin nagawa ng tama kaya lang pangalawang beses hindi yata nagkasabay yung pagtalon ko sa pag itsa nila sa akin, nasalo nila yung upper body ko pero yung lower body ko [hindi nasalo] so nag letter C yung buong likod ko and then tsaka po nila sinugod ako sa hospital,” she said.
After publishing different dance covers in YouTube, she was asked if she’s ready to take daring roles. She admitted that she is not ready and that she may take on sexier roles when she turns 24 or 25.
“Siguro kasi yung Bagito po medyo sexy po siya kumbaga parang kinailangan para mapakita ‘yung difference na mas matanda ako kay Nash (Aguas) pero yung sinasabi kasing daring sobrang sexy na talagang magpapakita ka ng skin. Ayaw ko pa po kasi parang kaya ko pa namang maging bata. Parang ‘di ko pa kaya.”
Ella is part of the film The Prenup which stars Sam Milby and Jennylyn Mercado which is now showing in theatres nationwide.
