EXCLUSIVE: Assunta de Rossi reveals she is not a kontrabida in her next teleserye

<div><img src='' alt='101215-assunta_head.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Assunta de Rossi is set to star in the upcoming Kapamilya teleserye <i>You’re My Home.</i> According to the actress, her role in the soap is far different from the previous characters she has portrayed before. “Very interesting <i>ang</i> role <i>ko dito</i>. I play the role of Jackie… I can’t reveal too much. <i>Noong pinanood ko ‘yung</i> trailer they told me, ‘<i>Hindi ka muna namin isasama kasi</i> <i>secret ka pa</i>.’ <i>Mabait ako dito, hindi ako</i> k<i>ontrabida,</i>” she shared in an interview with Push.com.ph.</div><div><br/></div><div>The members of the cast include Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta and Assunta has nothing but good words for the remarkable love team. Though she rarely does a scene with them, she said that she truly admires their acting skills. “<i>Hindi ko sila nakaka-work masyado kasi magkaiba kami [pero] later on magcro-cross’</i> yung paths namin. So I haven’t had the chance to work with them every single day but yeah <i>magkakakilala naman kaming tatlo,</i> si Goma (Richard) a<i>lam naman nating magaling na artista si</i> Dawn <i>don din, super </i>beautiful <i>grabe</i>,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>On going back to acting, Assunta remarked that she is ecstatic about being part of the teleserye. “It’s parang it’s great, it’s been great <i>kasi nga hindi pa ako naka-experience ng teleserye</i> ng from start to finish <i>kasi lagi akong nawawala</i> so parang nawawalan ng momentum. <i>Iba ‘yung talagang pagtuloy-tuloy </i>but then again even before this nakaka-guest din naman ako ng <i>MMK(Maalaala Mo Kaya) ganyan,</i> same team <i>naman ‘yan eh kaya suki nila ako ‘yu</i>n but yeah n<i>akaka-excite na gumawa ng teleserye kasi </i>I don’t do it that often <i>naman</i>,” she stated.</div><div><br/></div><div>She further added that it’s been a while that she has been part of a drama project. “The last time na nagkaroon ako ng show was last year pa that’s <i>Wansapanataym eh, an</i>im <i>na linggo lang ‘yun so iba talaga ‘yung part ka talaga ng teleserye at parang </i>yet ‘yung character<i> mo hindi mawawala hanggang hindi natatapos kaya masaya,” she said.</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Whenever she has spare time from her current busy schedule, Assunta shared that she tries to learn new skills and spend time with her loved ones. “<i>Nag-aaral din ako ng  </i>dressmaking, I also want to be a violinist.
