EXCLUSIVE: Maris Racal on working with Julia Montes: ‘Humanga ako nang sobra’

The <i>Pinoy Big Brother</i> alum said that she truly enjoyed doing the film.<i> “Daming first time ko, sobrang kinabahan ako but at the same time sobrang excited din kasi I get to work with Julia Montes kasi siya lang ‘yung lead sa cast na naka-scene ko and so masaya naman. Mabait ‘yung mga tao at tsaka ‘yung mga make-up artists sobrang kukulit nila kaya ang gaan pa rin ng feeling kasi ang saya talaga nilang kasama,</i>” she said an exclusive interview with Push.com.ph.</div><div><br/></div><div>The teen star said that she was really elated to have worked with Julia Montes who she looks up to in the industry. <i>“Pagkakita ko po sa kanya sa personal sobrang na shock po ako, sobrang nanigas kasi grabe ‘yung kaba ko kasi ‘OMG sa TV ko lang siya napapanood, ngayon I will act with her and then humanga ako nang sobra kasi ang bait niya rin. Tinutulungan niya ako sa mga scenes.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Maris revealed that Julia gave her tips on acting. “<i>Ano sinabi niya sa akin na ganon din ‘yung na-feel niya nong nagsisimula pa lang siya, ganon din ‘yung naramdaman niya kaya pray ka lang talaga at makinig sa director at huwag isipin ‘yung mga</i> negative comments.”</div><div><br/></div><div>With Manolo Pedrosa now being paired with Janella Salvador, Maris said that she is happy for him. “Okay lang, I’m happy for Manolo <i>kasi</i> project <i>naman niya</i> so it’s a blessing for him. <i>Meron din naman kami [ginagawa together], on going pa rin po ‘yung</i> movie, Stars versus Me. <i>Yes ako ng yes sa mga opportunities so hindi talaga ako humihindi sa mga</i> opportunities.”</div><div><br/></div><div>On what she has learned now that she is part of the showbiz industry, Maris stated, “It's hard at first and <i>sobrang hirap niya kasi ano eh ‘yung parang… like sobrang opposite talaga sa normal life kasi nahihirapan ako at first kasi ‘yung kahit sa normal life mo tinitingnan ka pa rin ng tao so ang number one kong natutunan paglabas pa lang ng bahay trabaho na agad, ‘yung parang you should be nice, you should be a public figure and ano po PR, ‘yung smile, and natutunan ko rin ‘yung pagiging strong despite ‘yung mga negative comments ng mga tao kasi may mga free will naman ‘yung mga tao,”</i> she said.</div><div><br/></div>
