Billy Crawford gives statement on being detained hours after the Star Magic Ball

<div><img src='' alt='090714-billy123_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Nagbigay ng statement si Billy Crawford sa Headquarters ng Taguig Police Station ukol sa balitang gulong kinasangkutan niya diumano na nangyari sa Precinct 7 ng Taguig City Police Station. Una sa lahat ay humingi ng kapatawaran si Billy sa mga nangyari tapos ay ikwinento ang istorya kung paano siya napunta sa mga pulis. “First of all I would like to apologize for my actions, whatever the speculation is, kung anu-ano ang mga sinabi ng mga tao na nambugbug ako whatever, wala akong kaaway, kaaway ko po sarili ko. Yes, I had a few drinks and I was under the influence of alcohol and that is related to something else and I actually went to the precinct. Nasa Fort kami then I went to the precinct, sinabi ko na pa-hold na lang ako at dito na lang ako, of course they didn’t do anything kasi wala naman akong ginagawa, they couldn’t hold me so I walked back outside and called a few people and I asked. Yun nga, if they could just hold me then I went back and I said to the officer on duty sinabi ko lang po na please lang ihold niyo na lang po ako dito kasi makakasakit lang ako ng ibang tao at makakasakit lang ako ng sarili ko.” </div><div><br/>Ayon pa sa kwento ni Billy, alam niya na nabasag niya ang bahagi ng salaming pinto ng istasyon ng pulis, “And then nakabasag ako ng salamin, that was it. Nakabasag ako ng salamin and I don’t remember if I punched or hit the wall of if I kicked the door or whatnot but that was it and then that was the time na pinasok nila ako at tinulak nila ako paupo and when push comes to shove I stood and yun lang and they pushed me back down and that was all that was. Wala akong nasaktan na tao, I’d rather be myself held na lang kesa makasakit pa ako ng tao or makaaksidente pa ako or makabangga pa ako. Like what I said I was under the influence of alcohol which is my responsibility and my fault and yun I just held myself and yun I have been here for hours now.” </div><div><br/>Kumalat na rin ang mga balitang nanuntok daw siya diumano ng pulis sa mimong istasyon na agad na nilinaw ni Billy na walang katotohanan. “Wala, wala akong kaaway. To be honest with you lahat naman tayo sumasabog, I am under a lot of stress, fatigue, I am really tired and I just wanted to have a good time which turned sour and it was my fault, wala akong sinaktan, wala akong tinulak, wala akong tinamaan kungdi yung salamin.” (continued on next page)</div><div><br/></div><div></div><div><img src='' alt='090714-billy123_main.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Ayon sa Spot Report na mula sa Precinct 7 ng Taguig na inihain nila sa Chief of Police sa kanilang Headquarters, “Malicious Mischief, Resisting Arrest at Direct Assault and Disobedience to an Agent of person of Authority” ang naging dahilan sa pagkakaaresto nila kay Billy. Kaya naman kung may plano ba si Billy na maghain ng counter laban dito o magsampa ng kaso sa nangyari, ayon sa kanya. “To be honest with you I don’t see anything wrong with what I did, it was my fault for actually being aggressive. Buti na lang it didn’t happen in a bar, it didn’t happen anywhere else it happened in a precinct and the reason why I knew for a fact that I need to be controlled, I needed to be in a controlled environment so as I said I really apologize to the officers if I said anything derogatory or anything else. I mean quite frankly, kausap ko naman yung mga police, they have been quite helpful naman on my part, all it was they just asked me to do drug tests, which is I don’t do drugs, so I just had a few drinks, too many and it was irresponsible on my part and that was it. I don’t know where the charges are coming from, I don’t know why people are making a big fuss about it. Well of course I am in showbiz so of course mabibigyan din ako… palalakihin din ito ng palalakihin, as I said I already apologized to the officers but they have been really helpful and nice to me naman.”</div><div><br/>Hindi na rin nagdetalye pa si Billy kung ano ang nangyari bago ang lahat lalo pa sa sinabi niyang kaya niya isinuko ang sarili niya una pa lang ay dahil ayaw niya makasakit. Aniya, “You just really think and I don’t come from a background na to hide or to fake anything, its just an aggression. I am just really exhausted, stressed out in situations, we try to be the best that we are and we are not perfect. Ayaw ko makasakit, ibig kong sabihin na ayaw ko makasakit, I am getting the aggression, may anger is out and usually for me when I am angry I am not plastic. If someone that speaks derogatory to me or anything, reresbak ako eh, its my protection and that is one of the reasons why I went to the precinct to please arrest me lang kasi I don’t want to drive, I don’t want to be drunk roaming around or making a fool out of myself which I am right now.” </div><div><br/>At nang tanungin siya sa kung ano ang mensahe niya sa mga tagsuporta at nagmamahal sa kanya na nag-alala sa kanya dahil sa mga nangyari, “I really apologize.” </div><div><br/></div>

Billy Crawford is apologetic about everything that happened and admits being under the influence of alcohol.
