She played the role of "Aryana", the teen mermaid who captivated the hearts of many in primetime. Gabriela Annjane "Ella" Umali Cruz was born on August 17, 1996 in Angat, Bulacan. Ella also played the teen Cristine Reyes in the ABS-CBN's TV series Dahil Sa Pag-Ibig and she was also the partner of Francis Magundayao being the teen Piolo Pascual.
She is celebrating her debut this year. Ella is now a college freshman taking up Communication Arts.
In her Instagram profile, Ella encourages everyone to "Be an inspiration to every generation."
