Maja Salvador believes that even her bashers have moved on from her past rift with Kim Chiu.
After years of being the subject of criticisms, Maja Salvador admitted that there has been a significant decrease in the number of bashers ever since she and Kim Chiu kissed and made up.
“Oo parang wala. Okay naman na eh. Siguro nagising na rin sila,” Maja said during her recently-concluded contract renewal with ABS-CBN. “Meron pangilan-ngilan pero ‘yung nagke-create nalang ng biglaan na account. ‘Yung alam mong wala silang magawa ‘yung oras na ‘yun,” she continued.
Speaking of Kim, netizens have noticed that they have been sharing the stage a lot lately for a production numbers on ASAP. What’s more is that there was even a time when she and Kim performed with Gerald Anderson, Maja’s current boyfriend.
To this Maja nonchalantly explained, “Okay kami, okay kami sa ASAP. Makikita niyo naman siguro sa mga mukha din namin. ‘Yun siyempre, sabi nga sa kanta ko din dahan dahan din talaga.”
Since news of their reconciliation made headlines some three months ago, a lot of their fans have rooted for the stars to once again star in a project together as a follow up to their successful teleserye Ina, Kapatid, Anak.
Is there no fear that their past rift might just overshadow their potential reunion project? “I think lahat naman nakapag move on na. Parang lahat naman tayo tapos na ang kwentong ‘yun, masyado ng luma so bakit mo pa babalikan ‘yung hindi magandang kwentong ‘yun. So, sa positive lang tayo, sa magandang pangyayari at sitwasyon lang tayo,” Maja stated.
Although, she confessed that they are still far from having the same kind of closeness that they used to have, the 25-year-old star noted the fact that they are finally in speaking terms as a good sign of progress.
Meanwhile, after her highly lauded performance as Nicole in the now-defunct controversial soap The Legal Wife, a lot of fans have been very eager to know what’s next for Maja. Reports have it that she would once again star in a new soap with Jericho Rosales, however this time, they would be joined by John Lloyd Cruz.
Since no official announcement has been made about it just yet, the singer-actress also opted not to confirm anything. But the “Dahan Dahan” singer said, “Basta maswerte ako sa bagong teleserye and excited na ako na malaman ng lahat kung ano man nga ‘yun. Pag na-announce na, I’m sure pati kayo ma-e-excite para sa akin and ‘yun dream come true na makasama ko itong magagaling na actor na ito.”
