Liza Soberano on working with Enrique Gil: ‘Talagang gina-guide niya ako’

<div><img src='' alt='082314-liza_main.png' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Liza Soberano teams up with Enrique Gil for the upcoming Kapamilya soap <i>Forevermore</i>. “I play Marietesa Kalay, she’s a farm girl, she picks strawberries and makes strawberry jam for a living and she makes the best strawberry jam. She's very hardworking and smart the total opposite of Alexander (Enrique’s character). She is a loving daughter, very responsible,” she shared during the story conference of the movie.</div><div><br/></div><div>The teen actress said that her role is quite unique compared to her roles before. “It's the first time that we (Enrique) will be together on TV. It’s my first time to be a farm girl, <i>ngayon</i> boyish ‘<i>yung</i> role and I’m going to get down and dirty <i>kasi ‘yung mga</i> last roles <i>ko puro </i>pa-cute,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Liza is also working with Enrique on a movie project titled The Bet. According to her, Enrique has really been helpful when it comes to acting. “It’s really fun <i>kasi h</i>e really guides <i>kasi bago pa lang ako</i> and he’s been working for a while so <i>talagang gina-</i>guide <i>niya ako</i>, he helps me through the scenes, <i>ang saya niyang katrabahao kasi ang gaan parang kahit gabi na</i> he still finds ways to make people laugh,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>On her preparations for the movie, she relayed, “For the movie, I had multiple workshops, voice lessons para ma-modulate ko ‘<i>yung boses ko kasi medyo maliit nga</i> voice<i> ko </i>and I read the book and I analyze the character very well. Nag-work<i> din ako </i>at a teashop for a day and nag-practice <i>ako</i> for the movie,” she stated. </div><div><br/></div>
