Currently busy with her national album tour, Maja Salvador recently shot a new music video for her album Believe with one of the country's most popular rappers. “It's my second single from my album. Ang title niya 'Halika Na' and I'm collaborating with Abra. I'm very happy na sa wakas ginagawa na naman ni Abra yung music video and it's under Ivory music. 1920s period yung peg namin, yung look at feel lang para ibang iba naman dun sa 'Dahan Dahan' na video,” she shares during the PUSH set visit last August 8 at Dillingers bar in Makati City.
Even her debut album turning gold Maja knows she still has a lot of work to do in terms of singing.
During her recent trip abroad, Maja says she was happy to be able to combine work with some sightseeing. “Great experience for me na makapunta ako sa South Africa. Yes trabaho yun, nag-pictorial kami for a magazine.
Despite choosing to always keep mum when it comes to details about her relationship with Gerald Anderson, Maja could not help but share a video on her Instagram account how happy she was that he was with her. You can see it naman in the videos. Yun na lang,” she says while smiling. Aside from South Africa, the 25-year-old performer says other countries on her bucket list include France, Italy and Korea. When asked if she wants to travel the rest of the world with Gerald, Maja reverts back to her usual non-committal answer. “Tingnan natin. Hindi ko rin masasabi yun. At least nakakapag-share (na ako) kahit papano,” she adds.
Aside from doing a magazine shoot with fellow Kapamilya actresses Erich Gonzales, Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Barretto, Maja says she learned a lot about how similar South African culture is to the Philippines. As in yung wala kang masasabing masama. It was an amazing experience for me,” she reveals.
