During the interview, Kris also made a comment clarifying to Herbert about him not hurting anyone physically but that it did not mean he did not inflict emotional pain on others. The 43-year-old host-actress said she is not going to be hypocritical and pretend nothing happened between them. “Eh totoo naman di ba? At least mas maganda na yun, hindi siya nananakit, damdamin lang. Eh kasi parang di ba huwag na tayo magpaka-fake lahat, nangyari na naman and all and we’re friends. Okay yun. Everyone can be friends,” she shared.
Kris also told the press that after admitting to dating Herbert, she is not prioritizing her love life anymore this year. The Feng Shui star said she is very excited to reprise her role in the 2003 horror flick which will be part of this year’s Metro Manila Film festival in December. She admitted to being excited to working with Coco Martin who is also the breadwinner of his family. “Wala. No kasi I think it will come or I don’t think it will come. Mauuna si Coco dun (laughs) kasi parating sinasabi ni Coco na ang focus niya pamilya niya at ang career niya and I agree. Kasi you have to be single minded. Eh ngayon parang hindi ko na alam ko paano ko hahatiin ang katawan ko sa dami ng in-oo-han kong gagawin. I think it’s the same way with him. Whatever challenge, nightly yung pressure and most of the time for airing sila so it’s true, nangyayari talaga na walang panahon para sa pag-ibig pero puwedeng ma-inspire,” she explained.
The self-admitted stage mom said she will be taking turns with James Yap accompanying Bimby on the set. “Actually in all fairness, dahil basketbolista naman ang tatay niya, excited na si Vice Ganda sa pagbabantay ng tatay (laughs). At pati sa teammates nung tatay so magiging barkada na ni Vice. So yun, hatian naman. So I think it’s fair,” she added.
Her son is so excited to do his second movie project that Kris said he has already scheduled their family plans for Christmas day, which will also mark the start of the MMFF season. “His movie has a different audience. Kinontrata na ni Bimby sa family na, ‘We’re watching me sa opening on the first screening and we’re going to watch mama at night but maybe if I’m not allowed, you’ll be the ones to watch mama,’” she happily shared.
