Juan Karlos Labajo says he wants to follow in the footsteps of Daniel Padilla and Enrique Gil

072314-karlos_main.jpgJuan Karlos Labajo admitted that he has always wanted to be in showbiz. “Ever since I really like to be in showbiz: camera, acting, singing. I really liked to be an actor a long time ago before I start sa The Voice,” he said in an exclusive interview with Push.com.ph.

When asked why he wanted to be in the entertainment industry, Juan Karlos said that he wants to leave a mark in this world. “The reason why I want to join showbiz is people don’t live forever, we only live for a short time in this world, I want to be an actor because I want to be known by other people. I want myself na parang when the day I pass away, like that, may tao na in the future mare-remember pa rin ‘yung name mo, ‘O, Juan Karlos a great actor and a great singer.’ It’s just a nice feeling like that,” he said.

Among all the young stars, whose footsteps does he want to follow? “Daniel Padilla and Enrique Gil,” he quickly responded. He believed that he could attain what Daniel and Enrique has achieved in terms of singing and performing.

Juan Karlos is one of the four finalists of The Voice Kids of the Philippines. He said that he is already ecstatic to perform in the grand finals this weekend. He extended his gratitude to those who supported him in the competition. “My message to all my fans, to all the supporters, thank you, a billion thanks to all of you. Thank you na you spend money to buy load, to vote for me and to let me in on the grand finals of The Voice Kids. I hope hindi kayo magsawa sa pag-suporta sa akin ‘til the end of my journey here sa The Voice Kids of the Philippines.”
