He has suffered from stroke almost 4 years ago and has undergone a major operation. He recovered successfully because of their strong faith. Kuya Kim is the fortress of Team Atienza (Kim, Fely, Jose, Eliana and Emman). His wife Felicia is the wind beneath his wings.
Kuya Kim continues to educate people through his TV Patrol segment and weather report and entertains the madlang people at noontime along with his It's Showtime co-hosts.
