Francisco 'King' Rodrigo put it, their wedding held at the Archbishop's Palace as officiated by Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle last June 14, was a fruition of many things, such as their love and engagement. Roa in an interview after the ceremonies shyly shared that it's actually her first time to get an engagement ring and experience a grand wedding since she just eloped with late husband Pete Roa in 1964. Her giant round-cut diamond ring sparkled on her hand as well as her studded gold wedding ring.</div><div><br/></div><div><b>2. What further accentuated Roa's classic yet youthful ensemble was the pair of round-cut diamond earrings that matched her engagement ring which she wore while her hair was tied in a soft bun.</div><div><br/></div><div><b>3. The prenup photos<br/><br/></b></div><div>It's not every day that two people get the chance to find love again after losing one and this was what was essentially evoked by the simple and candid prenuptial photos of Roa and King which was shown halfway through their wedding reception for the guests to enjoy.</div><div><br/></div><div><b>5. Shaw Pavilion at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club with over 250 well-dressed guests.</div><div><br/></div><div>The venue was awash with violets and hints of pink as their sophisticated white five-tier all-white wedding cake took the center of attention at the reception.</div><div><br/></div><div>Among the guests during that celebrated with the couple were TV5 Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan, actors Gloria Romero, Caridad Sanchez, Barbara Perez, Pilita Corrales, Jose Mari Chan, Ricky Davao, Roa's radio program co-host Willie Nepomuceno, husband and wife Julius and Tintin Babao, and German Moreno.</div><div><br/></div><div>Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, Susan Roces, and film producer Marichu Vera Perez Maceda were part of the principal sponsors.</div><div><br/></div><div><b>6. In fact, Rodrigo, even fondly called it a “dream come true” for him as he promised his new wife “a good life. Not only financially but of true love and caring.”</div><div><br/></div><div>If anything, Rodrigo acknowledges the fact that their relationship has rekindled the hope of a lot of people--both the young and the old. He said, 'I would like to believe that our relationship gave emphasis to the sanctity of marriage. Madaming nagsasabi sa amin na, 'Sa edad niyong 'yan? MagMOMOL [Make Out Make Out Lang] na lang. Bakit magpapakasal pa, make out make out na lang!''</div><div><br/></div><div><b>7. Their utter respect for one another, their respective late partners, and families</b></div><div>Not only did Rodrigo request the veteran actress to keep her late husband's last name Roa, but they agreed that their wedding would involve not only their living loved ones but also the ones who have already gone away.</div><div><br/></div><div>'After lunch with our two families tomorrow napagkasunduan namin na 'yung aking bouquet dadalhin naman sa crypt ng asawa kong si Pete pagkatapos 'yung flowers naman sa presidential table dadalhin naman namin sa crypt ng asawa ni King na si Olga,' shared Roa.</div><div><br/></div><div>The newlyweds are set to fly to South Korea next month with their families to spend their honeymoon.</div><div><br/></div>
