Melai and Jason happily introduced their Baby Mela on live television for the first time on Sunday
Real life husband and wife Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco collectively known as Melason jointly denied that their marriage is currently on the rocks purportedly due to a third party.
Reports have it that Francisco was recently seen by netizens with another woman who is not Cantiveros while in Pangasinan.
Francisco during their appearance on Buzz ng Bayan on Sunday clarified that it was her cousin Dianne Morelta whom the public spotted with him.
"Dumating 'yung pinsan ko galing Kuwait. Tapos ako 'yung parang nag-entertain sa kanya," he explained.
“First cousin niya ‘yun si Ate Dianne,” added Cantiveros.
In an earlier interview with Kapamilya writer Darla Sauler, Cantiveros explained that Francisco and his cousin were really close since childhood.
"Si Ate Dianne 'yun, 'yung hinatid niya sa Pangasinan. Super close sila magpipinsan kaya baka marami nag-misunderstood. At every now and then naman nagte-text ang asawa ko kaya panatag na legal wife ako. Char lang, walang sa kanila madam. Akin lang ang asawa ko char char lang," she said.
Meanwhile, the couple for the first time brought their first-born Amelia Lucille Francisco or simply Baby Mela on live television.
Transparent and candid as she is, Cantiveros giddily shared her tough experience in giving birth to Baby Mela via normal delivery. According to her, she underwent labor for three days so much so that she felt that “Malapit na ako mamatay.”
The first time parents were both very energetic in sharing all the hardship they endured for Baby Mela but for Cantiveros a lot of the credit should go to Francisco.
“Actually sobra siyang responsible. Sobrang bilib ako sakanya kasi talagang hands on siya talaga,” the former Pinoy Big Brother big winner proudly shared.
According to the two they plan to have one more child after Baby Mela and to stay in Manila for good after staying in Cantiveros’ hometown General Santos City for a while.
Asked for her Fathers' Day message to her husband, Cantiveros said: "Thank you, Ga, for always being there for us kahit maldita ako lagi kang nandiyan."
