Pokwang on love scene with Zanjoe Marudo: ‘Kung saan saan napupunta yung kamay ko’

061414-pokwang_main.jpgAs the star of the movie My Illegal Wife, Pokwang admitted she enjoyed spoofing scenes from previous Star Cinema hits, including one with co-star Zanjoe Marudo's girlfriend Bea Alonzo. “Ay maraming marami po. Yung Starting Over Again, Bride For Rent, She's The One, It Takes a Man and a Woman tapos Legal Wife at mga Kathniel na eksena (laughs),” she said.

Pokwang said those scenes were all integral to her character Clarise, who claims to be the wife of Henry (played by Zanjoe) after they got shipwrecked on an island together. “May dahilan kung bakit lumabas yung ganung eksena bilang ako nga ay number one fan ako ay isang fan ng Star Cinema movies so yung buhay ko gusto ko kung ano nangyayari sa akin may koneksiyon sa aking paboritong mga pelikula, ganun,” she said.

While doing the bed scenes with Zanjoe, the talented comedienne said she had a good time even though it took them numerous takes. Nakarami kami in fairness, thank you direk ha (laughs). Keri (laughs),” she admitted.

After being prodded by the press, Pokwang shared how she felt kissing Zanjoe. “Malambot ang labi, napakapalad ni Bea (laughs). In fairness kay Zanjoe napaka-gentleman niya katrabaho at saka kumbaga yung bawat eksena pinag-aaralan niya talaga.

Pokwang said her close friendship with Zanjoe helped make their intimate scenes easier to do.

As one of the country's top comedians, Pokwang shared some tips for others aspiring to get where she is today.

When it comes to using her personal challenges in life in order to be more effective at making people laugh, Pokwang said it is an additional tool.

With more than 20 movies under her belt, Pokwang said My Illegal Wife just might be her funniest movie to date. “Baka.

Watch Pokwang, Zanjoe Marudo, Ellen Adarna, Edgar Allan Guzman, Pooh, Beauty Gonzales, Empoy and Joy Viado in My Illegal Wife under Skylight Films now showing in theaters nationwide.
