PBB ex-housemate Divine Maitland-Smith goes topless in FHM magazine

061214-divine_main.jpgPinoy Big Brother alumna Divine Maitland-Smith lands on the pages of FHM Philippines. Inside the magazine's June 2014 issue, Divine went all out and posed topless.

"I wanted to do something different, something that would make me push myself because I don't even go to the pool without my boardshorts on," she stated in an interview with FHM.

Divine is fond of tattoos and she chose to express herself through them. Among her tattoos, she shared to FHM which is the most relevant saying, "I think the one on my arm has the most meaning, the one with the writing. What it means is that I believe in making your own fate, and that the path you choose is the one that is meant to be for you. If you want something, you go get it. If it's not meant to be, other paths will open up."

The Filipino-British ex-housemate relayed that she joined PBB because she wanted to show the country "a different side to lesbians." She said that she doesn't want to be stereotyped and that's what she wanted to prove inside the Big Brother house. "You don't have to be a dyke! You can have boobs; Show them! Be proud of who you are! I was so sick of people looking at me like they could fit me into a stereotype or a certain genre. I wanted to make a point 'that you could be who you are and that's okay."

Divine was romantically link to PBB Unlimited Big Winner Slater Young despite having a girlfriend outside of the Big Brother house. She underscored that it doesn't matter who she chooses to love. "Any type of love is hot; it doesn't matter 'gay, straight, whatever. A person finds something in another person and they help them get over the bad stuff' how can that be a bad thing?"
